Advantages of NeoGraft Follicular Unit Extraction

Many men and women are concerned with the loss of their hair. The options for hair restoration used to be restricted to a few methods that were not always as effective or comfortable as patients would hope. Now, NeoGraft Follicular Unit Extraction treatment is available. This technique has become a highly desirable method of hair restoration.

What Is NeoGraft Follicular Unit Extraction Treatment?

NeoGraft is a state-of-the-art technique for treating hair loss. This method is only minimally invasive and thus requires a shorter recovery period than traditional strip method for removal of donor hair.

This technique features a method called FUE, or Follicular Unit Extraction. This involves the use of local anesthesia in the treatment area, which creates a temporary numbing of the region. General anesthesia will not be needed.

During this method, hair follicles are removed from their locations in the patient’s scalp in natural clusters of between a single follicle and up to four follicles. These hair follicles are then processed. They are then implanted in a location where your hair is thinning or balding using suction and air pressure.

Within a period of around two weeks from the date of the patient’s NeoGraft treatment, any marks from the treatment may be fully healed. The transplanted hair follicles produce new hair with a period of around three to four months from the date of the procedure.

Why Choose NeoGraft?

There is a strong case for using NeoGraft Follicular Unit Extraction over other methods.

Minimally invasive: The techniques in this procedure are minimally invasive, making it an ideal option for patients who wish to avoid more complex surgical procedures.

Gentler: Patients typically feel little to no discomfort during the procedure or afterwards, making the post-treatment phase easier than with traditional strip methods.

Faster recovery: Many people only need one to two days to rest after the treatment. During this time, there are not many post-operative care directions, making it much easier for you to resume your daily schedule.

Natural-looking results: With the NeoGraft method, the results appear very natural. Follicular unit extraction takes hair in their naturally occurring growth pattern and transplants it to the needed area that way.

Practitioner-operated: Since the machine features automated harvesting and implantation but is controlled by a person, patients get the benefit of the aesthetic sense of a skilled trained practitioner combined with the precision of an automated device.

Efficiency: NeoGraft’s automated nature makes the procedure typically take less time overall than manual extraction or strip methods.

Suitable for many patients: While hair-restoration medication can be case specific, suitable for use only by men, or focused on only treating specific kinds of hair loss, the NeoGraft FUE method works for both men and women with a hair-loss or hair-thinning problem. Whether the causes were genetic, environmental, or triggered by hormonal issues, NeoGraft is still likely to be effective.

Suitable for many hair styles: Since the follicular units are removed individually, there is no strip removal. As a result, there are no sutures, no staples and no linear scar on the donor site. Since there is no linear scar, there is no chance that the linear scar will widen or become visible, and patients can thus wear their hair long or short.
